花開Radio 這次邀請了在Samantha Y. Shao 邵容謙透過她在紐約參與的計畫與藝術圈闖蕩的日子，來聊聊在紐約與台北她所觀察到的現象。

在藝術圈工作了快要七年的邵容謙，同時也參與了許多與文化相關的計畫，特別是目前正在進行中的《我的男孩團體IMMABB》讓她對文化消費這議題上有著許多見解與觀察。這次來到花開Radio 也希望能與大家一起想想，到底這些文化消費是如何影響著我們的每日生活。是時候該從「文創」的泥沼中覺醒了，我們需要針對「文化產品」更加有延續性與豐富性的討論，不論這是物質的或是非物質的。從這次的討論中，我希望能夠透過我的經驗與觀察來鼓勵更多有關「我們該如何觀察/ 使用/ 消費 文化？」的討論。

Topic: Cultural consumption nowadays, my observation of Taipei and New York.

I’ve worked in contemporary art for almost 7 years, and participated in many culture related projects – especially my most recent project “I’m Making a Boy Band”, I have an in-depth observation on cultural consumption and how it affects our daily lives.I believe it is time for Taiwan to move on from 文創 to a more sustaining and nutritious conversation of cultural product, no matter it is tangible or intangible. From providing my experience and observation, I hope to encourage a discussion of “how do we see/use/consume culture?”
