就某種意義來說，「後八」所面對的是一個營利團體般的想像。因為有錢才可以空想，可以空想才可以做些東西。萬事萬物的道理皆為如此。 |

In some sense, the name "post-8" stands under the prospect of a profit-making team. The reason is nothing but that it takes money to dream, and, further more, it takes dream to make something like art. That's the way it is.

「作品」是一連串的戲法，一點點的技巧與幽默。你可以說，那是為了幫助實現某種願望，這種願望的表面是大家都說想做的那種好事，同時也是幫「後八」實現每一個人都很不凡的那種願望。當然，關於「作品」的這些說法本身並不具有真實感，但這麼說，會讓這整回事更像是一個騙局。 |

This "work" is a result of successions of tricks, not much skills and a bit sense of humor. As you want, you may say that it helps accomplish an ordinary wish, which we could imagine from its extiority: most people wish to be kind and helpful, while it personally helps all members of "post-8" to feel as if we are unordinary. Surely, the statement about the "work" herein doesn't make it more real. Speaking fails to certify itself, but what could we say more to keep the whole thing from becoming a fraud?

Further, at the very moment that we no longer consider what we are doing something "as if it is art", art itself, more or less haunted by fiction, pays the name of naivete for our innocence in reward. We rather define these words as sort of reflection: this event would eventually leave behind an interesting memory for the rest of our lives.

What we call "context", which seems not so destined as fiction does, puts us at some position that you may deem the whole thing as a footnote of Tehching Hsieh's "works" , those started after 1978. The footnote, whatever you call it, tries to compensate certain shortage in Hsieh's "work".

We suppose no satire, in that satire always needs an object yet we haven't think of one. There's no personality, because it has never purly existed. At last, we declare that there's no fiction here, since we don't even believe in reality.
